MALSORJA E VERIUT NË CAFÉ BONSAI – MITROVICË

Që nga ditët e para pas çlirimit, Café Bonsai në veri të Mitrovicës është bërë një vend ku kam gjetur mikpritje, respekt dhe mirëkuptim.
Aty shkoj jo për politikë, por për të pirë kafenë time, për të pushuar dhe për t’u ndier e respektuar. Për mua ka rëndësi mënyra se si të trajtojnë njerëzit, jo përkatësia e tyre kombëtare apo fetare.
Dua ta përmend me respekt Albert Pepaj pronarin e Café Bonsai. Nga përvoja ime personale, ai më ka treguar njerëzi dhe më ka qëndruar pranë në momente të vështira. Këto të mira nuk i harroj. Nuk dua që politika apo paragjykimet t’ia zbehin të mirat që ka bërë ndaj meje.
Unë jam Malsorja e Veriut. Jam patriote, e dua atdheun tim dhe nuk bëj kompromis me dinjitetin dhe të vërtetën. Por patriotizmi im nuk është urrejtje ndaj njerëzve të pafajshëm. Njerëzit i vlerësoj sipas veprave të tyre.
Nuk më intereson politika e atyre që duan të na ndajnë. Më intereson paqja, drejtësia, respekti dhe bashkëjetesa mes njerëzve të ndershëm.
Krimineli nuk ka kombësi, hajni nuk ka fe, dhe përgjegjësia është individuale.
Respekt për Albertin dhe për çdo njeri që di të jetë njeri, pa marrë parasysh prejardhjen e tij.
Unë jam Malsorja e Veriut! Nuk shkel në dërrasë të kalbur.
Dija se jam mbesa e heroit Avdulla (Dah) Polloshka. Edhe kënga e Dah Polloshkës, që e njohin Gjakovarët, dëshmon historinë e stërgjyshit tim. Unë i kam gjenet e tij, por jam e pendës, jo e pushkës!

THE WOMAN OF THE NORTHERN HIGHLANDS AT CAFÉ BONSAI – MITROVICA
Since the first days after the liberation, Café Bonsai in northern Mitrovica has become a place where I have found hospitality, respect, and understanding.
I go there not for politics, but to enjoy my coffee, relax, and feel respected. What matters to me is how people treat one another, not their national or religious background.
I would like to respectfully mention Albert Pepaj, the owner of Café Bonsai. Based on my personal experience, he has shown me kindness and stood by me during difficult moments. I do not forget such acts of kindness. I do not want politics or prejudice to diminish the good he has done for me.
I am the Woman of the Northern Highlands. I am a patriot, I love my homeland, and I will never compromise my dignity or the truth. But my patriotism is not hatred towards innocent people. I judge people by their actions.
I am not interested in the politics of those who seek to divide us. What matters to me is peace, justice, respect, and peaceful coexistence among honest people.
A criminal has no nationality, a thief has no religion, and responsibility is individual.
Respect to Albert and to every person who knows how to be humane, regardless of their background.
I am the Woman of the Northern Highlands! I never step onto rotten ground.
Know that I am the granddaughter of the hero Avdulla (Dah) Polloshka. Even the song about Dah Polloshka, well known among the people of Gjakova, bears witness to the history of my great-grandfather.
I carry his genes, but I am a woman of the pen, not of the gun!
